ISC’07 The Information Security and Cryptology Conference Came to End...

The Information Security and Cryptology Conference with international participation was organized by Telecommunication Enterprise, Gazi University and METU in 13-14 December 2007 in Sheraton Hotel & Convention Center in Ankara.

Karakaya Group took place in the organization with its stand where it presented the opportunities of Adobe products and smart document platforms. Umit Karakaya, the Director of Karakaya Group, was participated in the activity as the guest speaker.

Adobe, one of the leader firms in the world, has preferred Medyasoft among the companies of Datateknik Bilisim Grup as the competitive distributor and KGC Consulting among the companies of Karakaya Group as the competitive integrator in institutional projects field in Turkey.

Adobe talked about the changing distribution structure in Turkey and future plans in the pres meeting organized in Cıragan Palace in 1 August. Christopher Brennan, the District Manager of Adobe in East Europe and Selami Gul, the District Manager of South-East Europe announced that they, as Adobe, have decided to execute the channel sale, market and Project activities with the competitive distributor Medyasoft and the institutional projects with KGC Consulting in Turkey.

Medyasoft, the member of Datateknik Bilisim Grup that is one of the leader groups of Information sector in Turkey, is one of the leader firms as the software wholesale trading with value added in the sector.

KGC Consulting is one of the member of Karakaya Group that is the Gold Partner of Adobe in Turkey and in which Karakaya Bilisim also takes place and works in institutional project and solution development fields.

Christopher Brennan, the Director of Adobe in East Europe, stated that they are glad to have two perfect partners in Turkey market. Brennan continued to his words as saying ‘You have an excellent past. You should proud of your past’ and stated that ‘Turkey has been developing fast for last 5-6 years. Turkey is very good at education, small and medium size enterprises, IT, technopark fields. There are lots of things here that Europe should learn’.

Ihsan Taser, the General Manager of Medyasoft, stated that their target is to have the educators and white collar employees produce rich pressed and online products as the channel competitive distributor of Adobe. Taser also added that they would present all license, education and publishing services about Adobe products together in order to spread the context development in Turkish.

Umit Karakaya, the founder of KGC Consulting, gave information about the institutional projects executed with Adobe products, smart document platforms and the opportunities of Adobe products in forming new generation rich internet contexts. He stated that the number of Pcs and mobile devices has increased to 700 and the programmes such as PDF is used in %89 of PCs and mobile devices and ‘flash’ is used in %97 of PCs and mobile devices. He also stated that the Works are being continued to use the products in PDA and digital platform televisions.

Karakaya also gave information about the ‘mobile signature’ application that they have developed due to the growing importance of mobile devices. The mobile signature, that has the legal validity and can be used in PDF files in mobile devices after a short time, is assumed as one step forward of the electronic signature.
